Galleri K

PATRIZIA Denmark acquired the iconic Galleri K property in the heart of Copenhagen with a vision to transform it into an attractive commercial and retail lease property.

The primary objective was to enhance accessibility, flow and activity within Galleri K's shopping arcade. In collaboration with PATRIZIA and Sovino we relocated the staircase and created two distinctive restaurant concepts on the ground floor, facing the open atrium. The transformation has resulted in a vibrant and lively atmosphere with a sense of being at a marketplace or town square in Europe.

Relocating the staircase further away from the main entrance on Pilestræde has provided The Market Asian and PS Bar & Grill, situated opposite – with a much larger outdoor service area, contributing to a better flow and a lively atmosphere inside the roofed atrium of Galleri K.

To activate the first floor, lighting and bright canopies were installed on the façades. In front of the windows, raised garden beds provide the area with a feeling of a sidewalk in front of a high-end boutique, which at the same time works as a beautiful addition to Interstudio’s storefront and their exclusive brand-portfolio. Today, Gallery K is a lively place in the city, where brands and shops lie side by side with excellent and well-attended restaurants.
